During a monitoring visit in the district, the Project Coordinator for ECLT, Stephenie Garde, told the Malawi News Agency (Mana) Thursday that she was impressed to note that there were several interventions in the communities that were changing people’s lives, with full collaboration of the project staff and district stakeholders.

“It’s encouraging for the donor to come and appreciate the work that we are doing in the communities. Our donor was pleased to see that district stakeholders support the project to ensure proper implementation to benefit communities,” he said.

Msangwa said the donors visit was an opportunity for communities to raise their development concerns that required their district council’s attention.
