Ethiopia, Portugal Discuss key Issues of Mutual Interest

Addis Ababa, Foreign Affairs State Minister of Ethiopia, Misganu Arga, and Portuguese Foreign Affairs and Cooperation Minister, Francisco André, exchanged views on key issues of mutual interest.

On the occasion, Ambassador Misganu expressed Ethiopia’s commitment to establishing strong bilateral diplomatic relations with Portugal.

The discussion held as part of the second joint political consultation is instrumental in elevating the existing bilateral cooperation between the two countries, according to the Foreign Affairs Ministry.

The two sides have discussed ways to further work in collaboration in the areas of politics, trade, investment, and tourism, as well as education.

They also exchanged views on continental and international issues of common interest
