Lilongwe: One of Malawi’s upcoming gospel artist based in Lilongwe, CMG whose real name is Cornelius Geoff Mbulo has released a new video titled ‘Cholinga changa’.
The newly released hit music video is already enjoying the airwaves on the country’s local TV stations like Mibawa, Times and AFtv.
CMG revealed to Malawi News Agency (Mana) in an interview that the new music video which was shot and directed by Mest Media production is his fourth music video to be recorded by the same production house.
Cholinga Changa is a song that talks about our life morals. It’s like most of the people have made this world their home forgetting that we were created for a purpose.
Life is a journey and we do not just end here on earth, but heaven is our destination. So basically the song is all about living for Christ alone and nothing else, CMG said.
The cholinga changa video track has featured artists like Saxess and Bethel on the chorus, making it to be a danceable piece suitable for all ages.
The Cholinga Changa hit maker said nothing else motivated him to release the video song but it was mainly because of the response that came from people to shoot a video soon after the audio was released.
So all I can say is that the motivation came from the people who listened to the audio, he confessed.
According to Mbulo, he has aligned his music video with nature to proclaim the gospel of the Lord Jesus and expose to people that everything God created is for a reason.
Nature connects you to God as it puts you in a good perspective to truly appreciate God’s wisdom and power of creation, he added.
The ‘Cholinga changa’ artist ventured into music in 2018 after being motivated by his friends at Phwezi Secondary school in Rumphi district.
Apart from music, CMG is also an entrepreneur whose company known as Mango Tech offers good and excellent ICT services to young people who are within and outside.
We offer ICT training services that will help to close the technological gap among youths in the country, he pointed out.
