MOROCCO BEAT MALAWI 3-0 IN AFRICA CUP OF NATIONS GROUP B QUALIFIER

CASABLANCA– Morocco’s national football team have beaten Malawi 3-0 in a Group B qualifiying match for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations, Africa’s premier soccer tournament at the Mohammed V Stadium here Saturday.

The victory, brings Morocco to second in the group with three points, the same as Malawi, after two games.

Cameroon tops the group with four points while Comoros are in last place with just one point.

The first goal for the Atlas lions came early in the game from Hakim Ziyach (3rd minute), while Youssef En-Nesyri scored twice (42nd, 78th).

Sarurday’s victory enables Morocco to be ranked second in the group on equal points with Malawi but with a better goal difference.
