Mzimba man goes away with a motorcycle in TNM Zampira Promotion

Mzimba: Mzimba based football fan has won a motorcycle in the Telecom Networks Malawi (TNM) Zampira Promotion barely three weeks after another fan from the same district won an air ticket to watch World Cup finals in Russia under the same auspices.

Speaking Friday during a handover ceremony held at Mzimba TNM Office, the winner, James Ligomeka 25, whose original home is Mulanje District said he was excited to have won the motorcycle as it will ease his mobility.

I fix floor tiles and sometimes travel long distances from Mzimba Boma where means of transport and travel schedules are not predictable.

The motorcycle will enable me overcome this challenge and my work will now be much easier, said Ligomeka.

Ligomeka won after predicting the game involving Silver Strikers Football Club and Civil Sporting Football Club which ended in a one all draw at a game which was played two weeks ago at Civil Stadium.

TNM’s Regional Distribution Manager for the north, Yamikani Bakuwa said the handover of the motorbike demonstrates that the company fulfills its promises to its clients.

We are very excited to handover the motorcycle to Mr. Ligomeka. This is the third time we are handing over a motorcycle in our Zampira Promotion.

The promotion is helping supporters to live their dreams and TNM believes this prize will make a difference in the life of our winner, said Bakuwa.

Bakuwa urged the football fans to continue participating in the promotion and win the remaining five motorbikes and the grand prize of K1.5 million.

TNM had recently flown another soccer fan from Mzimba, Zondwayo Mgemezulu, to the just ended World Football Cup final game between France and Croatia.
