PICTORIAL: National Action Plan on Persons with Albinism in Malawi Launched

Lilongwe: Long at last, Government has launched National Action Plan on Persons with Albinism in Malawi 2018-2022. The Minister of Gender, Children, Disability and Social Welfare, Dr. Jane Kalilani Saturday, June 23, 2018 launched the Plan at Mwenilondo Primary School in Karonga when the country was commemorating the 2018 International Albinism Awareness Day. The launch of the Plan will act as guideline to all stakeholders how they can mainstream their programmes and implement projects in accordance.

The plight of the persons with albinism in the country can be drastically reduced if all stakeholders will be committed to use it. Malawi News Agency (Mana) Photojournalist, Tione Andsen has the pictorial pictures for the Commemoration of the Day and launch of the Plan from Karonga.
