PLCI holds national women conference

Lilongwe, As one way of preaching the word of God,women of Pentecostal LifeChurch International over the weekend conducted women Conference under the theme Rise and Shine.

Speaking in an interview with Malawi News Agency (Mana),treasurer for the church Comfort Chitsokwesaid aim of the conference was totransform lives of women spiritually and to keep themarise with the word of God.

The idea behind this year’s theme was to empower women lessons in spiritual growth, said Chitsokwe.

PLCI was founded by Apostle Kingstone Prince Ngwira in 2012 and it was first introduced in Lilongwe with branches in Namitete, Mangochi and Blantyre.

According to Chitsokwe, the church has managed to come up with new ideas to make it different with past events by inviting custodians of faith; Bishop Clara Kamanga and Pastor Deborah Martha Kamwana.

This year’s event was very unique because we had a diversity of guests who shared their ideas on how we can uplift the word of God, and we are sure that this will help to transform more people and win many souls Chitsokwe said.

One of the participants, Mercy Phiri said the event was successful even though it had some few challenges.

We have reached beyond expectations since the church had financial problems to host this event said Phiri.

The event was spiced with activities suchas marriage seminars, music by PLCI praise team and Evance watsopano Meleka.

The event was held at PLCI headquarters in area 49 Gulliver Lilongwe.
