Addis Ababa Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed has arrived in Seoul, Korea for a two day state visit and will meet with President Moon Jae.
Prime Minister Abiy was welcomed in an official ceremony by the Government of South Korea today.
Members of the Ethiopian community in Seoul also warmly welcomed the Prime Minister and his delegation, according to Office of the Prime Minister.
Prime Minister Abiy met with members of the Ethiopian community in a dinner reception organized by the Ethiopian Embassy to Korea.
During his visit, the Premier will discuss with high-level Korean officials on a broad range of partnership between Ethiopia and South Korea.
Ethiopia is a traditional friend of South Korea as the sole African country that dispatched ground troops to help it fight against invading North Korea during the 1950-53 Korean War.
