South Africa: Three Suspects Arrested in Nyanga for Alleged Murder

Three suspects are expected to appear in court this week after they were arrested on two separate cases of murder. Two suspects were apprehended early today in Browns Farm, a year after they allegedly kidnapped and assaulted the victim they accused of housebreaking in Browns Farm in June last year. The victim succumbed to injuries and his body was found in a dam in Harare, Khayelitsha. Thorough investigations finally led to the arrest of the perpetrators.

A third suspect was also arrested last night after he fatally stabbed his friend during an argument over liquor in Cossovo. The suspect left his beer in his friend’s shack and when he came back to collect it the deceased had already opened the bottle which resulted in an altercation between the two.

The three suspects are expected to appear in Athlone Magistrate Court on Thursday, 15 December 2016. Two are facing charges of murder and kidnapping and the third one murder.
