TNM flies fan to World Cup in Russia

Lilongwe,TNM says it will continue promoting the interests of soccer lovers in the country through its Zampira Promotion where fans make and submit predictions of some football games in the TNM-sponsored Super League.

Public Relations and Sponsorship Manager, Limbani Nsapato said this on Thursday in Lilongwe during his departure together with Zondwayo Mgemezulu to witness the World Cup final game between France and Croatia in Russia on Sunday. Mgemezulu has gone to Russia to watch the World Cup final game on behalf of his in-law, Manson Gondwe, who won the air ticket through Zampira-Predict-and-Win Promotion. Nsapato said the promotion brings experience to soccer lovers to live their dreams in the world of soccer.

We are very excited to see off the soccer lover to Russia as it is life-changing to remember great moments in the world of soccer, said Nsapato. He then urged Malawians to continue participating in the promotion, saying more prizes are still up for grabs.

Nsapato disclosed that TNM will spend K15.2 million for the trip which includes entry tickets for the match, air tickets, accommodation and meals for the two who are expected to return on July 17 after the finals. In his remarks, Mgemezulu who flew to Russia on behalf of the Mzimba based businessman (Gondwe) said was overwhelmed and looking forward to watching the World Cup final in Russia for the first time.

I feel happy to go and watch the world cup final; this is a great moment and a once- in-a-lifetime experience for every soccer loving person. As a Big Bullets fan locally, I am so excited to go and watch the 2018 World Cup, I was supporting Spain and now that the team is out, my second option is France, said Mgemezulu.

He expressed gratitude to TNM for the trip, saying he would learn something from the experience to change the community and the society at large. He then urged soccer-loving Malawians to participate whenever promotions arise to increase the chances of being part of the world of soccer.

This season, Zampira Promotion has two components, the weekly and monthly one. So far, two lucky individuals have won motorbikes during monthly draws. Predict and Win Zampira Promotion was launched on April 26, 2018 with the aim to engage soccer fans directly through the sending of predictions of selected weekly TNM Super League game results.
