The Government of Ethiopia and the UN Country Team are determined to deepen their partnership, a joint statement issued by the Government of Ethiopia and UN Country Team said.
After conducting constructive and productive deliberations with the United Nations Country Team, including the incoming UN Resident and Humanitarian Coordinator, Dr. Ramiz Alakbarov and UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) Country Representative, Michael Saad, a joint statement has duly been issued.
“We will continue working for inclusive and sustainable development in Ethiopia. We reiterated our commitment to intensify our joint efforts for the immediate resumption of humanitarian aid to vulnerable communities,” the statement stated.
