President of Congo, Prime Ministers of Mauritius & Lesotho Arrive in Addis


Addis Ababa: President of the Republic of the Congo Denis Sassou Nguesso, Prime Minister of Mauritius Pravind Kumar Jugnauth, the Prime Minister of Lesotho Sam Matekane and Vice President of Uganda Jessica Alupo have arrived in Addis Ababa to join the leaders of African countries at the 37th AU Summit.

The leaders were warmly welcomed by high ranking government officials of Ethiopia up on their arrival at the Addis Ababa Bole International Airport this afternoon.

Leaders of various countries across the continent have been arriving in Addis Ababa to attend the 37th African Union Summit which is set to take place from 17-18 February 2024.

The 37th African Union Summit will be held under the theme: ‘Educate an African fit for the 21st Century: Building resilient education systems for increased access to inclusive, lifelong, quality, and relevant learning in Africa.’
