Minister of Foreign Affairs, Taye Atske Selassie held a meeting with his Burundi counterpart Albert Shingiro, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Development Cooperation.
The two sides discussed matters of bilateral and multilateral interests as well as ways to further consolidate fraternal ties, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Having a longstanding relationship, Ethiopia and Burundi have been striving to create peace and stability in east Africa and particularly in Somalia, it was learned.
